Beautifully written and slightly depressing. Not one I could sit and read at one sitting and, I think, should be read over a period of time. Fortunately the chapters are collected essays and can be read as stand alone mini-stories in themselves. The poetry and imagery are wonderful.

I ran out of books...well, really I didn't because that would never ever happen at my house. Did have non visits from my children on Mother's Day which allowed me to finish two books. Darn snow - bad for visits, good for books.
